Although it sounds like work, some computer software is like candy to me. In addition to being a powerful tool that enhances and speeds up production, many high-end programs are just as fun to play with as toys. Nothing is more productive than making work fun while getting it done faster at the same time.

My favorite program has been Adobe Photoshop ever since I first tried it. I have used Photoshop daily for the past 10 years. Other programs that I adore are: iTunes for listening to music and organizing songs into playlists, Adobe Dreamweaver for designing and publishing awesome web sites like this one, and Filemaker Pro for collecting and managing information in custom searchable databases. Apple makes work fun with the entire Mac OS X Tiger operating system and every program that comes pre-installed including: Mail, iChat, iCal, and Address Book.
